Senior Associate - Landscape Architecture

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Associate in Landscape Architecture to lead the design and delivery of innovative outdoor environments across commercial, residential and master‑planned projects in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with architects, engineers and clients to create sustainable, aesthetically compelling spaces that enhance the urban fabric.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualisation, design and execution of medium‑scale landscape projects with minimal supervision.
• Develop and implement design strategies, standards and methodologies aligned with market and client goals.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, define roles and ensure clear communication of project requirements.
• Prepare fee‑based deployment plans and present them to senior leadership.
• Act as the technical lead, overseeing planting, irrigation, public realm design and quality procedures.
• Manage client interfaces, conduct meetings and oversee contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and mentor junior staff.
• Strong understanding of commercial bid processes and project delivery in the UAE market.
• Excellent collaboration skills with architects, engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
