Senior Audio Technician (Freelance)

About the role

Legends Global is seeking a senior audio professional to lead the Audio Department at the Coca‑Cola Arena in Dubai on a freelance basis. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality sound for live events, ensuring technical excellence and safety throughout each production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and train the arena Audio Department team.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot arena audio, communication and radio systems.
• Mix and deliver high‑quality audio for live events and productions.
• Collaborate with production teams and event organizers to provide AV solutions and technical support.
• Manage AV equipment maintenance, repairs, inventory and safe storage.
• Conduct fault diagnosis, report equipment issues before and after events, and ensure timely technical delivery.
• Support budgeting, resource planning and cost‑effective technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards and promote a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Audio Engineering or a related AV discipline.
• Proven experience in professional audio, AV operations and live‑event production.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai’s entertainment and live‑event venue industry.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
• UAE national applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• Digital mixing consoles (DiGiCo, Avid, Yamaha, Allen & Heath).
• JBL line‑array systems and large‑scale audio deployments.
• Clear‑Com and Riedel communications systems, networking and RF technologies.
• Audio prediction/modeling software (Soundvision, d&b ArrayCalc, JBL, L‑Acoustics Soundvision).
• AutoCAD and Vectorworks for AV design.
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
