Senior Audit & Assurance – UAE FY27

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Audit & Assurance professional to join its Abu Dhabi team for the FY27 period. The role involves delivering high‑quality audit services, building stakeholder trust, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk‑management standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust and credibility with stakeholders by understanding their service expectations.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services, applying practical awareness of regulation and risk management.
• Adapt template referral instructions to define audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, providing accurate information for delegated tasks.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and link risks, controls, procedures, and findings across the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and ensure they contribute to overall audit quality.
• Prepare documentation anticipating reviewer questions and distinguish accounting from auditing judgments.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or related field; graduate degree preferred.
• 4+ years of public auditing experience, preferably with a Big Four firm.
• Experience supervising staff, inspecting client financial records, and preparing detailed audit reports.
• International accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CPA (CA preferred).
• Fluent in English; bilingual Arabic/English candidates are given preference.
