Senior Audit – Audit & Assurance (UAE FY27)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Audit professional to join its Audit & Assurance team in Dubai for the FY27 cycle. You will work with a diverse set of clients, helping them navigate regulatory expectations and risk management while delivering high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding service expectations and individual priorities.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services, applying knowledge of regulations and risk management to business processes and controls.
• Prepare and adapt referral instructions, clearly outlining audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate risks, controls, procedures, and findings into the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and demonstrate how they contribute to overall audit quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in audit or assurance, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Strong understanding of regulatory impacts on audit processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both on‑shore and off‑shore teams.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering accurate and timely audit outcomes.

Required skills

• Knowledge of audit standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience preparing audit scope documents and referral instructions.
• Proficiency in coordinating multi‑team audit engagements.
