Senior Audit – Audit & Assurance (UAE FY27)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Audit professional to join its Audit & Assurance team in Dubai for the FY27 period. The role involves delivering high‑quality audit services, building stakeholder trust, and contributing to Deloitte’s purpose of making an impact that matters.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust and credibility with stakeholders by understanding their expectations.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services, ensuring compliance with regulations and risk‑management standards.
• Adapt and prepare referral instructions, defining audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence to coordinate tasks and share accurate information.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and link risks, controls and findings across the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and prepare documentation anticipating reviewer queries.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or related field; graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of public audit experience, preferably with a Big‑Four firm.
• Experience supervising staff, inspecting client financial records and preparing detailed audit reports.
• International accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA or CPA is desired.
• Fluent in English; bilingual Arabic/English candidates preferred.
