Senior Authority Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Authority Engineer to act as the primary liaison between our project teams and local authority departments in Dubai. The role ensures smooth submission and approval of NOCs, building permits, and compliance with UAE regulations, supporting the delivery of large‑scale infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures for NOC submissions and approvals, maintaining a comprehensive database of status updates.
• Coordinate with local authority departments, attend meetings, site visits, inspections, and client discussions.
• Ensure design drawings comply with UAE codes and keep the team informed of regulatory updates.
• Provide technical advice to project teams, resolve authority comments, and organize regulatory awareness sessions.
• Prepare detailed reports on approval statuses, track timelines, and escalate delays as needed.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and enforce standards for authority approvals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of authority liaison experience in the UAE.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE regulations, codes and NOC processes.
