About the role
BroadNet is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Go) in Dubai to own the routing core of its A2P and P2P messaging platforms. The system selects a route, signs the message, hands it to an MNO binding partner and follows the delivery report back, processing more than 300 million messages a day across 1,000+ direct operator connections.
Key responsibilities
- Routing logic: multi-LCR cost matrices, anti-fraud guardrails, sender-ID policy enforcement and regulatory filters by country
- SMPP bind orchestration: pool management, bind health, failover and throughput shaping per partner
- DLR pipelines: reconciliation, replay and partner-side anomaly detection
- Observability: real metrics, real traces and real on-call, defending latency budgets
The team is a four-person backend pod that owns the routing layer end-to-end, working alongside two senior engineers, a principal architect and the SRE lead. The team has shipped four production rewrites in the last decade with no major outages.
