Senior Business Analyst (Trade Systems)

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst (Trade Systems) will act as the key liaison between clients, stakeholders and development teams to deliver and continuously improve Customs Risk Management and Trade Single Window solutions. The role combines product ownership, business process analysis and systems thinking within the trade ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead elicitation and analysis of business and functional requirements for Single Window and Customs Risk Management solutions, including AI‑driven use cases.
• Prepare comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Business Requirements Specifications (BRS) that are traceable and governance‑compliant.
• Model and analyse business processes using BPMN and UML, creating clear AS‑IS and TO‑BE diagrams.
• Act as Product Owner or proxy, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
• Validate solutions against business objectives and operational realities of trade stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of experience in business analysis, preferably within customs, logistics or trade facilitation.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end customs and logistics operations.
• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into actionable digital solutions.
