Senior Business Development Executive

About the role

NIQ is seeking a commercially driven Senior Business Development Executive to accelerate revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts. You will work with leading manufacturers and retailers, leveraging NIQ’s data, analytics, and insights solutions to create measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target, and win new clients across assigned markets through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and social selling.
• Lead the full sales cycle from qualification to proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
• Develop strategic plans to penetrate target accounts and generate new revenue streams.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients, identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including C‑suite decision‑makers, to become a strategic partner.
• Drive client retention and long‑term revenue growth.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of B2B sales, business development, or commercial experience.
• Proven success in hunting and winning new business.
• Experience in market research, consumer insights, retail measurement, analytics, SaaS, or data solutions.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation abilities, and results‑driven mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
