Senior Business Development Manager - Corporate

About the role

As the Senior Business Development Manager – Corporate for Shangri‑La Qaryat Al Beri, you will lead the expansion of the hotel’s corporate portfolio, driving room‑night revenue, forging strategic partnerships and ensuring all commercial activities meet the luxury brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and manage corporate accounts to meet revenue targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate decision‑makers, travel managers and procurement teams.
• Negotiate contracts, rates and commercial agreements in line with hotel policies.
• Generate new business through proactive sales, networking and market engagement.
• Monitor performance, market trends and competitor activity across the UAE and regional markets.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and account plans; represent the hotel at corporate events and industry forums.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, Reservations and Operations teams to maximise opportunities and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the UAE corporate market and hospitality sales environment.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship‑management and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Proven experience managing corporate contracts, RFPs and long‑term partnerships.
• Analytical and strategic thinking ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Results‑driven mindset with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related field; professional certifications a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in hospitality corporate sales and business development.
