Senior Buyer – Procurement & Retail Operations

About the role

Melodica Music & Dance Academy is expanding its procurement and retail functions across its 30+ UAE locations. The Senior Buyer will lead sourcing, vendor management, and inventory coordination to support the company’s music and dance education services.

Key responsibilities

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments.
• Conduct cost analysis and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics ERP for procurement and inventory management.
• Maintain procurement records and generate purchasing reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Purchase Officer/Buyer, with mandatory retail industry experience.
• Hands‑on experience in ERP software implementation; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP or similar is required.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
