Senior Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

Responsible for sourcing and contracting direct material for assigned categories, mitigating commercial risk and ensuring supply security. Acts as the commercial expert, leading supplier selection, negotiations and sustainable purchasing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier selection, negotiate contracts and secure competitive pricing for material categories.
• Develop and implement sustainable purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality and delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure compliance with internal procedures and export regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• 7‑8 years of procurement experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven ability to source, contract and manage procurement processes.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills.
