Senior Calibration & Service Engineer

About the role

A client of Agile Consultants is looking for a Senior Calibration & Service Engineer in Abu Dhabi to lead pressure and temperature calibration activities. The successful candidate calibrates, troubleshoots, services and repairs pressure, temperature and electrical measuring instruments, develops calibration procedures, maintains technical documentation, supports calibration laboratory operations and ensures compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.

Key responsibilities

• Calibrate, troubleshoot, service and repair pressure calibrators, automated pressure controllers, multifunction calibrators, temperature calibrators, pressure modules and pneumatic/hydraulic pressure generation systems.
• Service pressure and temperature transmitters, pressure sensors, RTDs, thermocouples, process instruments and other industrial instrumentation.
• Calibrate electrical test instruments such as digital multimeters and clamp meters.
• Develop and maintain calibration procedures, technical documentation and measurement uncertainty budgets.
• Support calibration laboratory development, quality management and technical service operations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, quality procedures and technical standards.
• Manage reference standards, calibration equipment and service schedules, and provide technical troubleshooting, maintenance and customer support.
• Maintain calibration records, service reports and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in calibration, instrumentation servicing and equipment repair.
• Good knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, calibration quality procedures and audit handling.
• Experience preparing calibration procedures, technical documentation and measurement uncertainty budgets.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and technical documentation skills, and good communication and customer coordination skills.
• Experience with Air Data Test Sets (ADTS) is an added advantage.
