Senior Civil 3D Modeler – Utilities

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Senior Civil 3D Modeler to lead the creation of high‑quality 2D drawings and 3D civil models for utilities and road networks in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with local standards, and drive BIM best practices on complex infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and develop detailed Autodesk Civil 3D models for utilities and road corridors.
• Generate accurate 2D plans, elevations, sections, and shop drawings from the models.
• Develop and review TPD planning approval drawings, service corridor designs, and utility routes.
• Lead and mentor modelers/CAD technicians, assign tasks, and review their work for quality and compliance.
• Provide training on CAD/BIM tools, Civil 3D workflows, and drafting standards.
• Support the creation, implementation, and maintenance of BIM and drafting standards.
• Coordinate the flow of technical documents (models, drawings, specifications, data books) across project teams.
• Maintain organized filing systems and generate required reports.
• Ensure all outputs meet project specifications, Abu Dhabi authority codes, and Parsons BIM/CAD standards.
• Identify and resolve design documentation issues and manage changes related to utilities and corridors.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Civil 3D models for utilities and road networks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor CAD technicians.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards and Abu Dhabi authority requirements.
• Excellent coordination skills for managing multidisciplinary documentation.
