Senior Client Accountant

About the role

The Senior Client Accountant will manage the end‑to‑end client accounting function for a portfolio of properties based in Sharjah. Reporting to the Client Accounting team, you will work closely with Property Managers to ensure accurate financial data, strong controls over client money and compliance with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily banking transactions and generate receipts in property management systems with high accuracy.
• Manage accounts receivable, including tenant invoicing, AR aging and follow‑up on outstanding balances.
• Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations for landlord and client accounts, investigating reconciling items.
• Produce monthly landlord financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Respond to tenant and landlord queries regarding statements, payments and balances.
• Support internal and external audits by providing reconciliations, schedules and documentation.
• Administer Owners Association accounts and assist in the preparation and audit of annual service charge accounts.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, internal policies and client‑money controls.
• Contribute to process improvements and strengthen financial controls.

Required profile

• At least 48 months of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Happy Tenant (mandatory).
• Hands‑on experience with TRAMPS (mandatory).
• Experience with Yardi is an advantage.
• Comfortable working in legacy and transitional accounting environments.
