About the role
Bureau Veritas is recruiting a Senior Coating and Painting Inspector 1 for its Marine & Offshore business in Abu Dhabi on a permanent basis. The role sits within the oil and gas industry and focuses on pipe coating, field joint inspection and concrete coating.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, qualified according to BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 certification requirements.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, including at least 5 years in pipe coating and field joint inspection.
- Experience with 3LPP and concrete coating.
- Proven experience working with EPC contractors.
- Very good spoken and written English, including the ability to write technical reports.
- Computer literate.
Required skills
- Familiarity with ASME, ISO and BS codes.
- Coating and painting inspection, field joint inspection.
