Senior Cold Chain Excursion Assessment Specialist (Remote UAE)

About the role

An experienced Senior Cold Chain Excursion Assessment Specialist is sought to evaluate temperature deviations during the storage and transportation of temperature-sensitive products. The role focuses on remote excursion investigations, product risk assessments, compliance documentation and corrective action recommendations, working 100% remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review temperature monitoring data and identify cold chain excursions
• Assess the potential impact of temperature deviations on product quality and stability
• Evaluate excursion duration, temperature ranges, product specifications and storage conditions
• Review data logger records, shipment reports and supporting documentation
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Prepare excursion assessment reports and maintain accurate digital records
• Collaborate remotely with quality assurance, pharmaceutical logistics and distribution teams
• Support compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and applicable quality standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in cold chain management, pharmaceutical quality or temperature excursion assessment
• Strong understanding of temperature-sensitive products, stability requirements and cold chain procedures
• Experience analysing temperature monitoring data and preparing technical reports

Required skills

• Familiarity with GDP, quality management systems and CAPA processes
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
