Senior Construction Engineer – Completion/ICAPS (Offshore WHTs, Subsea Cable, Piping)

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Construction Engineer to lead completion and turnover activities for offshore oil & gas facilities in Abu Dhabi. The role bridges construction, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and operations, ensuring all work is inspected, documented and handed over correctly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage construction completion, punch‑list management, inspection/test records and turnover for offshore Wellhead Towers, subsea cable systems, piping and brownfield modifications.
• Act as the main interface between Construction, Completion, Commissioning, QA/QC, Engineering, Operations, subcontractors and the client/operator.
• Establish completion priorities, maintain system boundaries and ensure accurate data entry in ICAPS or equivalent systems.
• Verify inspection, testing and completion status, track records against tag numbers and system boundaries.
• Lead completion activities for subsea cable installations, brownfield tie‑ins and new piping/equipment connections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in offshore oil & gas, with at least 5‑8 years in senior construction completion roles.
• Proven experience on offshore projects involving Wellhead Towers, subsea cables, piping and brownfield modifications.
• Previous PMC/EPC background; ADNOC offshore experience is an advantage.
