Senior Consultant Cardiologist – Government Healthcare Facility

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant Cardiologist to join a Government Healthcare Facility in Dubai, UAE. The role involves delivering expert cardiovascular care, leading multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to teaching and quality improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular diseases.
• Handle complex and acute cardiac conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular disease and cardiomyopathies.
• Perform and interpret cardiac diagnostics including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing and ambulatory monitoring.
• Carry out invasive or interventional cardiac procedures within approved scope and credentialing.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians and residents.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, MBBS, MBChB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Accredited cardiology residency or specialist training program.
• Post‑specialisation experience of 5–8 years at consultant level.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Excellent clinical judgment, leadership and communication skills.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
