Senior Consultant – Internal Audit (Arabic Speaking)

About the role

Grant Thornton’s Business Risk Services team is looking for a Senior Consultant who can lead internal audit engagements for Arabic‑speaking clients in the financial services sector. You will work independently on risk assessments, audit planning and execution while delivering high‑quality insights to help organisations strengthen their controls and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare draft terms of reference and audit planning documents, incorporating client feedback.
• Develop business proposals and ensure timely submission to line management.
• Conduct fieldwork, perform current‑state assessments, gap analyses and design target operating models.
• Execute financial risk management assignments covering capital, liquidity, credit and market risk, stress testing, internal risk models, data management and risk reporting.
• Build and implement risk‑reporting processes, reviewing and updating risk management policies, procedures and standards.

Required profile

• Fluent Arabic (spoken and written) and strong English communication skills.
• Senior‑level experience in internal audit or risk consulting, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex risk assignments and deliver client‑focused solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a collaborative approach.
