Senior Consultant – Quantitative Risk & Regulatory Advisory

About the role

Grant Thornton UAE is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Regulatory Advisory team in Abu Dhabi. You will work with financial‑institution clients to design and implement risk solutions, focusing on credit and market risk. The role offers exposure to a variety of regulatory projects while benefiting from the firm’s global scale and local expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Apply a thorough understanding of credit and market risk to deliver high‑quality advisory and analytical solutions.
• Leverage quantitative analytics and market‑risk models, including VaR and Expected Shortfall, to support client projects.
• Develop and implement risk‑management frameworks that meet regulatory requirements such as Basel, IFRS 9, and local CBUAE guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Business Risk Services, Forensics, and Business Consulting.
• Assist clients with regulatory compliance, prudential regulations, and governance assurance.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in credit and market risk analysis.
• Strong quantitative background with the ability to translate complex models into actionable advice.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
