Senior Consultant – Strategic Economic Development (UAE)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant to lead strategic economic development initiatives in Dubai, working closely with government stakeholders and sector leaders to design and deliver projects that support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support strategic economic development projects from concept through implementation.
• Conduct policy analysis and develop economic policies and frameworks.
• Review existing legislation, regulations, and governance models to identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare strategic recommendations, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Engage with government entities and key stakeholders to gather insights and drive project outcomes.
• Support benchmarking, research, and best‑practice assessments across economic sectors.
• Contribute to transformation initiatives aligned with economic priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Public Policy, Management or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in strategy consulting, economic development, public‑sector advisory or government transformation.
• Experience with Big Four or leading global consultancies is highly preferred.
• Previous work with Abu Dhabi government entities or centre‑of‑government functions is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of strategic planning, policy formulation and legislative review.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and stakeholder‑management skills.
