Senior Contract Manager – Large Residential Project

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to lead contract administration for a large residential development in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will oversee all contract phases, from tendering through post‑contract delivery, ensuring compliance and commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Review, interpret and apply contracts and framework agreements.
• Draft contract particulars, appendices and compile tender documentation.
• Lead tender negotiations, analyse offers and provide recommendations.
• Manage contractual correspondence and advise on responses.
• Assess and improve existing processes across office and site operations.
• Coordinate with RIBA design stages (2‑6) and integrate quality, progress, safety and value considerations.
• Oversee project controls, especially change‑management procedures.
• Evaluate independent consultants for compliance and report findings.
• Support the Commercial Director for PDO, liaise with the PDO team and PMC, and deputise as required.

Required profile

• Degree qualified (BSc/MSc) and professionally recognised (MRICS/FRICS).
• 10+ years of experience delivering large, multi‑functional construction projects.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the USA, Canada or Western Europe and 5 years in the Middle East (preferred).
• Proven negotiation and claims experience on major projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual acumen with a track record of successful delivery.
