Senior Creative Director (Contract)

About the role

Ethara is seeking an experienced Senior Creative Director on a contract basis to shape the creative vision for integrated campaigns, brand platforms, strategic initiatives and high‑profile events. The role will translate complex strategic narratives into contemporary, internationally relevant creative work across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead the overall creative direction for campaigns, brands, programmes and events, ensuring consistency across Arabic and English outputs.
• Develop key visuals, campaign identities, sub‑brand systems and oversee hero films, documentaries, launch videos and social content.
• Provide creative direction to external partners such as production companies, directors, photographers and designers.
• Mentor Art Directors and Designers, maintain rigorous quality control and approve all creative deliverables before client presentation.
• Collaborate with Strategy and Communications teams to align creative execution with strategic narratives.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of experience in leading creative, branding, advertising or integrated agencies, with senior‑level leadership roles.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign concepts, brand development, film/video, experiential and digital/social work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising or related field preferred, or equivalent senior‑level experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines and deliver high‑quality creative output.
