Senior Credit Analyst

About the role

The Senior Credit Analyst will evaluate Business Banking credit applications, ensure compliance with policies, and support the credit portfolio through accurate analysis and documentation. This role sits within the Credit function of Rak Bank, collaborating closely with Business Banking, Sales and Credit Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess credit applications, conduct checks, and recommend decisions in line with approved policies.
• Process approvals, declines and rejections in credit systems, issuing related documentation such as Letters of Undertaking and Purchase Orders.
• Perform periodic control checks, identify discrepancies, and escalate risks to maintain a strong control environment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth processing and high‑quality service delivery.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency while preserving risk discipline.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Banking, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in banking or financial services, preferably in credit operations or assessment.
• Good understanding of retail and business banking credit processes, policies, documentation and regulatory requirements.
