Senior Cybersecurity Expert – Azure & Cloud Security

About the role

Astra Tech is seeking a hands‑on Senior Cybersecurity Expert to protect its Azure‑based infrastructure and O365 environment. You will design, implement, and validate security controls across cloud, identity, and secret‑management layers, ensuring compliance with industry benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Hardening Azure tenants: Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender for Cloud, NSGs, Private Link, Key Vault, policies, blueprints, and landing‑zone architectures.
• Implementing and managing Azure WAF, cloud policies, and CIS/Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark alignment.
• Securing O365: Defender for Office365, DLP, CASB, CloudApp, Conditional Access, CSPM, MDC, MDE, MFA, and PIM.
• Designing and operating enterprise key‑lifecycle management using Azure Key Vault, Managed HSM, BYOK/HYOK, certificate rotation, and PKI integration.
• Integrating security into DevSecOps pipelines and supporting SOC operations.

Required profile

• Senior‑level cybersecurity professional with proven offensive‑security experience.
• Deep expertise in Azure cloud security and O365 protection.
• Ability to design, test, and operationalize security controls in cloud‑native environments.

• Azure Cloud security (Defender for Cloud, WAF, NSGs, Private Link, Policy, Blueprints)
• Entra ID / Azure AD and Conditional Access

• SOC operation experience
