Senior Design Manager – Residential & Commercial

About the role

The Senior Design Manager will lead the design and delivery of high‑quality residential and commercial projects for Resicom+ within the Al Futtaim Group. Reporting to the Director of Architecture, you will shape design strategies, ensure projects meet aesthetic and technical standards, and align with the organisation’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end design processes from brief to construction documentation, including procurement and permit acquisition.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining high user‑experience standards.
• Develop and implement design strategies in collaboration with the Director of Architecture.
• Create and maintain templates, processes, and risk‑management systems for complex tasks.
• Coordinate across architectural, interior, landscape, structural, MEP, and consultancy teams.
• Communicate design solutions effectively to stakeholders and manage site‑related complexities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in design and management, preferably with leading local developers.
• Proven track record managing residential and commercial office projects.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and experience handling complex design challenges.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for leading consultants and stakeholders.
