Senior Director Internal Audit

About the role

The Senior Director – Internal Audit leads Arada’s Group Internal Audit function, providing independent assurance on governance, risk management, internal controls, compliance and financial reporting across all business units and subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a risk‑based audit strategy aligned with the Group’s objectives and risk appetite.
• Prepare the annual audit plan for senior management and Audit Committee approval.
• Lead audit teams, manage external consultants and build a high‑performing internal audit function through coaching and succession planning.
• Evaluate enterprise risk management frameworks, identify emerging risks and recommend improvements.
• Review governance structures, procurement, contract and project controls, and present findings to senior leadership and the Board.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CA, ACCA, CFE) preferred.
• 18+ years of internal audit experience with at least 7 years in senior leadership, including extensive exposure to real‑estate development, construction or diversified groups.
• Proven track record of managing enterprise‑wide audit functions and presenting to Audit Committees and Boards.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of internal audit standards, COSO framework and IFRS reporting requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI for data analytics.
• Experience implementing audit analytics tools and data‑driven audit methodologies.
