Senior Discipline Engineer – SmartPlant 3D (SP3D)

About the role

Archirodon Group is seeking a Senior Discipline Engineer to lead the SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) modeling discipline for a major oil & gas brownfield EPC project in the UAE. The role involves overseeing 3D models for piping, equipment, HVAC, structural and civil systems, ensuring compliance with project standards and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the 3D modeling discipline using SmartPlant 3D for EPC projects.
• Develop, review and coordinate 3D models across piping, equipment, HVAC, structural and civil disciplines.
• Ensure clash‑free models and compliance with industry best practices and client specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to SP3D designers and junior modelers.
• Support deliverables such as isometric drawings, material take‑offs and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Piping or related engineering discipline (or equivalent).
• 15+ years of experience in 3D modeling for Oil & Gas/EPC projects.
• Proven experience on Middle East projects, preferably ADNOC.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) and related engineering tools.
• Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, isometric drawing generation and material take‑off extraction.
