Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician (Telecom Network)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our telecom network team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of electro‑mechanical equipment across telecom sites, ensuring high reliability and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission base stations, generator sets, solar power systems, backup batteries, AC/DC power systems, cabling, and cooling systems.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on power equipment to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose and repair faults in generators, power distribution, cooling units, and related systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot power failures and equipment malfunctions, adhering to SLA requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs; produce detailed performance reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operation of telecom infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on field experience with electro‑mechanical equipment in telecom environments.
• Proven ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot hybrid power systems, generators, and solar solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
