Senior Engineer - Aeromechanical

About the role

The Senior Engineer – Aeromechanical will lead aeromechanical activities for integrating weapon systems onto aircraft platforms. The role owns complex analyses, supports design and integration reviews, and contributes to ground and flight test activities while ensuring compliance with military standards and airworthiness requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aeromechanical integration of weapon systems, defining mechanical interfaces, carriage, and release environments.
• Conduct structural loads, vibration, aeroelastic and dynamic response analyses to assess aircraft‑weapon compatibility.
• Support design, integration and readiness reviews by providing technical inputs, analysis results and engineering justifications.
• Prepare and execute ground and flight test activities, including instrumentation coordination and data review.
• Maintain engineering documentation, calculations, reports and ensure traceability to requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of experience in aeromechanical integration within aerospace or defense.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Working knowledge of safety‑critical development processes for airborne and weapon systems.
• Understanding of aircraft‑weapon integration principles and aeromechanical interfaces.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Creo or SolidWorks.
• Experience using MATLAB for numerical analysis.
• Familiarity with CFD tools for aerodynamic analysis.
