Senior Engineer - Aeromechanical

About the role

The Senior Engineer - Aeromechanical leads aeromechanical activities for integrating weapon systems onto aircraft platforms, covering mechanical interfaces, structural loads, vibration, aeroelasticity and dynamic response. The role owns complex analyses, supports design and integration reviews, contributes to ground and flight test activities, and ensures compliance with military standards, airworthiness requirements and safety-critical engineering processes. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of aerospace or defence experience.

Key responsibilities

• Aircraft-weapon aeromechanical integration: define, assess and verify mechanical interfaces, carriages and release environments
• Structural, loads and dynamic analysis: structural loads, vibration, aeroelastic and dynamic response analyses
• Design and integration reviews: provide technical inputs, analysis results and engineering justifications
• Test and verification support: ground and flight test preparation, instrumentation coordination and data review
• Compliance and airworthiness: meet military standards, airworthiness requirements and contractual obligations
• Engineering documentation and traceability: prepare, review and maintain calculations, reports and compliance evidence
• Technical issue resolution and cross-functional collaboration with systems, safety, test, manufacturing and platform teams

Required profile

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in aeromechanical integration, including ownership of complex analyses, test support and technical reviews
• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• Working knowledge of safety-critical development processes for airborne and weapon systems
• Knowledge of aircraft-weapon integration principles and aeromechanical interfaces
