Senior Engineer – Asset Integrity & Process Safety

About the role

The Senior Engineer will lead the Asset Integrity and Process Safety function for Al Dhafra Petroleum, ensuring the reliability of pipelines, structures, wellhead towers, equipment and wells throughout their lifecycle. This critical position provides technical authority, drives continuous improvement, and monitors key performance indicators to mitigate risk and enhance operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Technical Authority for Facility Integrity, guiding design, construction and operational phases.
• Implement and enforce Asset Integrity Management standards in line with ADNOC Upstream Integrity Code, ISO and API specifications.
• Participate in technical and pre‑startup safety reviews to ensure compliance with AIMS requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contractors to integrate integrity considerations into offshore projects.
• Monitor, analyse and report on Asset Integrity KPIs, corrosion management, maintenance, inspection and well integrity metrics.
• Coordinate corrosion mitigation and condition monitoring programmes within budget.
• Prepare periodic integrity reports covering risk registers, KPI trends and planned/outstanding maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8‑10 years of experience in asset integrity, corrosion control and process safety within the oil & gas upstream sector.
• Proven experience acting as a technical authority on large‑scale offshore facilities.
• Strong understanding of ADNOC Upstream Integrity Code, ISO 9001, API standards and industry best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPI data and drive corrective actions.
