Senior Engineer – OT Cybersecurity

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to lead the implementation of OT Cybersecurity solutions across utility environments and master control centres. The role combines hands‑on deployment, configuration, integration of security technologies and detailed engineering documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce High‑Level and Low‑Level Design documents for OT cybersecurity infrastructure.
• Perform gap and risk assessments following IEC 62443, NIST and other international standards.
• Plan and execute cable routing, physical installation of network and security devices in substations and control centres.
• Review and validate single‑line diagrams, as‑built drawings and panel layouts, raising RFIs and proposing constructible solutions.
• Deploy and integrate industrial firewalls, switches, IDS sensors, secure remote‑access and logging collectors according to approved designs.
• Support network cut‑overs, IP schemes, VLAN/VRF mapping and secure connectivity between sites.
• Lead FAT/SAT testing, commissioning, documentation and final hand‑over, coordinating with OEMs and utility operators.

Required profile

• 7–12 years of on‑site execution in brown‑field substations, utilities or similar industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of OT network architecture, segmentation, zones and conduits.
• Experience with HLD/LLD preparation, panel/cabinet build supervision and as‑built documentation.
• Familiarity with UAE utility HSE expectations, PTW systems and OSHAD‑aligned safety requirements.
