Senior Engineer - Seekers Testing & Qualification

About the role

Join EDGE’s cutting‑edge engineering team developing advanced electro‑optical (EO) seeker systems for next‑generation precision‑guided technologies. As a Senior Testing & Qualification Engineer you will lead the planning, execution, verification and qualification of EO seeker components throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute component, subsystem and full‑seeker level test activities.
• Develop test procedures, acceptance criteria, qualification plans and verification matrices.
• Conduct functional, performance, environmental and qualification testing of EO seekers.
• Analyse results, identify failures, support root‑cause investigations and perform regression testing.
• Maintain EO laboratory test setups, calibration methods and automated testing solutions.
• Correlate laboratory, field, ground and flight‑test data using engineering and statistical techniques.
• Produce technical reports, qualification evidence and test documentation.
• Support design, test readiness and qualification reviews and coordinate with engineering, production, integration teams and external facilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electro‑Optical, Optical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in testing, verification, qualification or system integration, preferably in defence, aerospace or high‑technology environments.
• Strong understanding of verification, validation and qualification methodologies and proven technical reporting skills.
