Senior Estidama Engineer (PQP) – Al Ain

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Senior Estidama Engineer (Pearl Qualified Professional) to join our construction supervision consultancy team for the Al Amerah Villas & Buildings Project in Al Ain. The role involves leading Estidama sustainability compliance throughout the project lifecycle, from design review to close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage Estidama compliance activities during construction and project close‑out.
• Review and monitor project adherence to the Abu Dhabi Pearl Building Rating System and DMT regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, design consultants, contractors, and authorities to achieve targeted Pearl Ratings.
• Assess design changes, material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions for sustainability compliance.
• Monitor on‑site construction to ensure implementation of approved sustainable practices.
• Prepare, review, and manage Estidama documentation, credit submissions, compliance trackers, and sustainability reports.
• Conduct site inspections, sustainability audits, and compliance assessments.
• Liaise with Abu Dhabi Municipality and other relevant authorities for Estidama approvals and certification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil, Environmental or Sustainability Engineering or a related field.
• Valid Estidama Pearl Qualified Professional (PQP) certification (mandatory).
• 10–15 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Extensive experience on villa, residential, mixed‑use and building projects in Abu Dhabi or Al Ain.
• Background in engineering consultancy, construction supervision or PMC organizations.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of the Estidama Pearl Building Rating System.
• Strong understanding of sustainable building design and construction practices.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes and construction standards.
• Proficiency in preparing technical reports, presentations, compliance documentation and sustainability assessments.
• Experience in construction supervision processes and stakeholder coordination.
