Senior Estimator - Aluminium & Glass Facade

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the pricing of aluminium and glass façade projects from initial enquiry through to contract award. The role sits close to the factory floor, works with the commercial team and influences tender strategy and margins.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, architectural, structural and shop drawings, BOQs and specifications to define the full scope of aluminium and glass works.
• Prepare accurate material take‑offs for curtain walls, windows, doors, cladding, skylights, railings and related metalwork.
• Price aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, accessories, powder coating, anodising, fabrication labour, installation and site logistics.
• Obtain and negotiate quotations from aluminium system suppliers, glass processors, hardware vendors and subcontractors.
• Maintain and update the cost estimation database with current market rates.
• Prepare commercial and technical tender submissions, clarifications and qualifications.
• Support value‑engineering to meet client budgets while protecting margins.
• Price variations and change orders on awarded projects and hand over cost breakdowns to project and production teams.
• Participate in pre‑ and post‑tender meetings with clients, consultants and main contractors.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of estimation experience with an aluminium and glass façade contractor or fabricator in the UAE or GCC.
• Proven track record pricing curtain‑wall (stick and unitised), windows, doors and cladding packages.
• Strong knowledge of aluminium systems such as Alumil, Technal, Schuco or Reynaers and of glass specifications and IGU build‑ups.
• Confident reading of architectural, structural and shop drawings.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical or Architectural Engineering preferred.
