Senior Estimator

About the role

GCL is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the preparation, review, and submission of accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil, landscaping, and infrastructure projects across the UAE. The role ensures technical compliance, commercial competitiveness, and alignment with client requirements and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs and contractual requirements in detail.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and pricing schedules for civil, softscape, hardscape and infrastructure works.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and analyse competitive quotations.
• Identify project risks and opportunities, recommending mitigation strategies and cost adjustments.
• Lead pre‑tender and post‑tender meetings, providing technical and financial input to management.
• Mentor junior estimators, review their work and ensure accurate, on‑time tender submissions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 9 years of estimation experience in civil, landscaping or infrastructure projects, preferably in the GCC.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of MS Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with estimation software such as CCS (Candy) or similar tools.
