Senior Executive Officer (DIFC) & HNW Distribution Lead

About the role

The Senior Executive Officer (DIFC) & HNW Distribution Lead is a dual‑mandate position based in Dubai, combining regulatory leadership (≈30%) with high‑net‑worth (HNW) distribution responsibility (≈70%). You will act as the DFSA‑mandated resident Senior Executive Officer for the DIFC Category 4 licence while driving commercial growth across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute the HNW distribution strategy for the Middle East, own APE and VNB targets, and act as a quota‑carrying leader generating new business.
• Build and deepen senior relationships with private banks, international brokers, family offices and external asset managers across the region.
• Recruit, lead and develop the Dubai distribution team, setting performance standards and account ownership.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the DFSA and DIFC Authority, ensuring compliance with Category 4 permissions, fit‑and‑proper obligations and governance frameworks.
• Maintain robust risk, conduct and financial‑crime controls, embedding a strong governance culture across the entity.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of relevant experience, including at least five years in distribution leadership within HNW/UHNW life insurance, wealth management or private banking in the Middle East.
• DFSA fit‑and‑proper credentials or clear capability to obtain approval as a Senior Executive Officer for a DIFC‑regulated firm.
• Established regional network of private banks, brokers, family offices and EAMs.
• UAE residency (or willingness to relocate) and a university degree in business or a related discipline.
