Senior Facilities Manager – FM, Soft Services & Security

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Facilities Manager to lead end‑to‑end facilities, soft services and security operations across a large, diversified group in Abu Dhabi. The role combines deep technical expertise with strong vendor management and leadership of multi‑site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and operations of all stores, warehouses and office facilities.
• Manage MEP, refrigeration, civil and electrical infrastructure.
• Lead preventive maintenance programmes, asset lifecycle management and AMC contracts.
• Drive energy‑efficiency, sustainability and space‑optimization initiatives.
• Supervise geographically dispersed in‑house FM teams to ensure service consistency.
• Direct housekeeping, cleaning, waste management and pest‑control operations.
• Develop and implement security protocols and loss‑prevention measures.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety, health & safety regulations and emergency readiness.
• Liaise with authorities such as police, civil defence and regulatory bodies.
• Source, negotiate and manage vendors for facilities, soft services and security.
• Control costs while maintaining service quality and manage annual budgets.
• Lead and develop facility managers, supervisors and coordinators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or related field (MBA a plus).
• 12+ years of experience in facilities management, soft services and security, preferably in FMCG or multi‑site environments.
• Strong vendor ecosystem management and SLA‑driven service delivery.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements (fire safety, labour law, hygiene standards).
• Proven leadership of large, distributed teams and solid financial acumen.
