Senior Finance Manager / Finance Director

About the role

An established organisation in Abu Dhabi’s industrial and business services sector is seeking a senior finance professional to lead financial operations and support strategic decision‑making in a project‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial management activities including reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance and compliance with IFRS, UAE tax and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee treasury functions, liquidity, banking relationships and working‑capital management.
• Provide commercial and financial insights to support operational performance, business planning and investment decisions.
• Manage statutory audit, tax compliance and financial reporting obligations.
• Partner with operational stakeholders to monitor performance, control costs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead and develop finance team members, promoting accountability and efficiency.
• Support finance transformation initiatives, including process optimisation and system improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA) preferred.
• Significant leadership experience in project‑based, capital‑intensive or B2B industries such as engineering, infrastructure, construction or industrial services.
• Strong background in financial controllership, treasury, cash‑flow management, reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS, UAE taxation and related regulations.
• Proven experience managing statutory audits and working with external auditors (Big 4/Big 10).
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to work with senior business stakeholders.
• Willingness to be based in Abu Dhabi and work on‑site.
