Senior Finance Manager

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager will lead finance, accounting, treasury, reporting, tax and IT functions for multiple joint‑venture special project companies developing medium‑size utility‑scale solar PV and wind plants in Saudi Arabia. Reporting directly to each project’s EMD/GM, the role oversees a CAPEX budget of $250‑$625 million and ensures financial performance aligns with strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of Finance Managers and Assistant Finance Managers.
• Oversee all finance, accounting, treasury, tax, reporting and IT activities for 2‑5 SPCs.
• Control and monitor CAPEX spending, billing, collection and month‑end close.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, insurance brokers and lenders.
• Administer risk‑management processes, including insurance policies and internal controls.
• Prepare regular performance, compliance and progress reports for the Board.
• Review contracts, ensure proper accounting treatment and resolve invoice disputes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance leadership within large‑scale renewable‑energy projects.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑million‑dollar CAPEX budgets and complex joint‑venture structures.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments across different countries.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior executives and external partners.
