Senior Financial Analyst – IT SOX

About the role

Visa is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Global SOX Team in Dubai. The role focuses on assessing and testing IT control design and operating effectiveness for key financial systems, supporting SOX 404 compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Review walkthrough documentation, test control effectiveness, meet control owners, and report identified issues.
• Support IT controls meetings with control owners, external auditors, and SOX team members.
• Document test results in Visa workpaper templates for SOX team and external auditor review.
• Assess control exceptions with management, communicate issues, and support remediation action plans.
• Contribute to planning and executing the annual IT SOX program and manage day‑to‑day interactions with external auditors.

Required profile

• 7+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree (or 5+ years with a master’s/MBA).
• ACC​A, CISA or similar qualification preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with AI tools to improve audit efficiency.
• Knowledge of IT SOX/404 testing and internal audit processes.
