Senior Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to lead our finance function for an industrial and manufacturing organization based in Dubai. The role involves overseeing multi‑entity financial operations, driving strategic financial planning, and ensuring compliance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports.
• Manage a team of 10+ finance professionals.
• Oversee multi‑entity and group consolidation.
• Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
• Monitor and enhance internal controls and financial policies.
• Support decision‑making with financial insights and data analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors and manage audit processes.
• Manage financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong background in accounting and finance within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Multi‑entity and territory experience.
• Experience managing large teams.
• Experience in Africa is a MUST.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
• Proven experience in managing financial operations within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Effective leadership and communication abilities.
