Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

The Senior Frontend Developer will lead the design, development, and optimisation of high‑performance single‑page applications for an AI‑enabled decision‑support platform. Working closely with project managers and backend engineers, you will help deliver a scalable, secure product while establishing best‑practice processes for sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise complex single‑page applications using React and related technologies.
• Architect scalable, modular, and reusable frontend components and systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements and UX designs into high‑quality code.
• Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Implement and advocate for best practices in frontend development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Integrate secure RESTful APIs, streaming services, WebSocket connections, authentication and authorization into the frontend.
• Lead technical discussions, propose innovative solutions, and contribute to long‑term product strategy.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level developers and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience, with at least 3 years focused on React.
• Proven track record of delivering production‑grade single‑page applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and mentoring junior developers.
