Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

CompanyA is a regulated payments company based in Dubai, building a consumer app that enables people to send money abroad to over 40 countries. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own the web application end‑to‑end, from design system to data layer, and to drive scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Own the web app end‑to‑end, designing and evolving the design system, data layer and architecture.
• Ship money‑moving features such as send, track, recipients, onboarding and all transfer states.
• Build the live quote flow with expiry handling, honouring payments and providing clear explanations.
• Cross service boundaries when needed: create endpoints, migrations, event consumers using TypeScript first and Go when required.
• Set and maintain frontend standards: typed APIs, Storybook components, Playwright flows covering money‑related actions.
• Ensure the app is fast on real‑world phones, measured by Core Web Vitals in production.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and the mobile team on scope and shared design token pipelines.

Required profile

• 5+ years building production web applications in TypeScript and React, owning a product from architecture to release.
• Experience shipping a product that moves money and operating within audit and change‑control constraints.
• Built or rebuilt a design system or component library used by other engineers, with comprehensive tests.
• Worked across the stack in a Node service on PostgreSQL: wrote endpoints, modified schemas and handled third‑party failures.
