Senior Fullstack Engineer – Node, React & Azure

About the role

We are hiring for a UAE Government Department to lead the design, development, and operation of cloud‑native enterprise applications. The role is fully onsite in Abu Dhabi and requires a hands‑on senior full‑stack engineer with deep expertise in Node.js, React and Azure services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript and, optionally, Golang.
• Create responsive, high‑quality front‑end experiences with React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Design, implement and integrate RESTful and event‑driven APIs across enterprise systems.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Build, test and deploy pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and ensure robust monitoring and logging.
• Participate in architectural planning, conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software development experience, preferably on enterprise‑grade projects.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services and CI/CD automation.
