Senior Fullstack Software Developer

About the role

CERT is looking for a senior full-stack software developer to lead end-to-end technical project delivery, AI/ML implementation and cloud platform development aligned with its strategic objectives. This is a hands-on senior role covering cloud-native application development, AI/ML pipeline delivery, pre-sales engagement and mentoring development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycles from requirements gathering to client acceptance, meeting business objectives and SLAs
• Design and build scalable cloud-native platforms on AWS and Azure using IaC and CI/CD, and evaluate emerging technologies
• Apply agile methods to speed releases and lead cloud migrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) with microservices, event-driven messaging and robust databases
• Implement cybersecurity protocols and compliance frameworks (UAE PDPL, GDPR), including risk assessments and audit support
• Lead technical pre-sales: RFPs, solution proposals and technical presentations to government and institutional clients
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts and SLAs, and lead cross-functional development teams and external partnerships
• Mentor team members, set development standards and reporting workflows, and attend governance meetings

Required profile

• 8+ years in technology/software development, with at least 3 years in a senior or technical leadership capacity
• Proven delivery of enterprise cloud and AI/ML platforms for government or semi-government clients in the UAE or GCC
• Track record of cost reductions, efficiency gains and on-time client acceptance
• Experience coordinating teams, managing vendors and supporting pre-sales and RFPs
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field (minimum); UAE NQF Level 7 or equivalent, with overseas qualifications attested by UAE MOHE
• English required; Arabic preferred. UAE or GCC experience is mandatory.

• Computer vision, LLM/RAG, MLOps and CI/CD for ML pipelines
• Microservices, CI/CD, DevOps, Agile/Scrum, security-first development
• Nice to have: cloud architect certifications, supercomputing/IoT/fleet management experience, professional Arabic
