Senior Functional Analyst – Finacle Core Banking

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Functional Analyst specialized in Finacle Core Banking to join our Dubai team. The role focuses on ensuring that the bank’s financial workflows, reporting and migration activities are accurately configured within Finacle. You will act as the key finance representative throughout testing and implementation phases.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate end‑to‑end financial workflows in Finacle, aligning them with accounting policies, chart of accounts and reporting requirements.
• Design, document and execute functional test cases covering General Ledger postings, account reconciliation, period‑end closing and financial reporting outputs.
• Verify accuracy of accounting entries generated by Finacle across loans, deposits, payments and cards, ensuring correct debit/credit treatment and GL mapping.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing as the finance lead, analyse results and provide formal sign‑off on finance‑critical scenarios.
• Collaborate with migration programme teams to review functional design documents, system configurations and product programmes from a finance perspective.
• Identify, log and follow up functional gaps or accounting discrepancies with technical and implementation teams.
• Validate financial and regulatory reports produced by Finacle for completeness and accuracy.
• Support parallel‑run activities by comparing legacy system outputs with Finacle and resolving any variances.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a functional analyst in core banking environments, preferably with Finacle.
• Strong understanding of banking finance processes, accounting principles and regulatory reporting.
• Hands‑on experience in functional testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Ability to work closely with finance, operations and migration teams to capture and address requirements.
