Senior GRMS Technician

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island, a new luxury resort slated to open in 2027, is seeking a Senior Technician for its Guest Room Management System (GRMS). The role sits within the AV and Entertainment Technical Services team and supports the integration of room‑control technology with the resort’s broader AV infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain GRMS components such as control panels, sensors, switches and networked devices.
• Monitor system performance, respond to alerts and resolve guest‑reported issues.
• Support integration of GRMS with lighting, audio, video and environmental controls.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance and detailed troubleshooting of hardware and software faults.
• Maintain accurate service logs, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with IT, Facilities, engineering and housekeeping teams to ensure system readiness for VIP arrivals and special events.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, AV Technology or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience with GRMS or AV systems in hospitality or entertainment environments.
• Fluent English with strong communication and coordination skills.
• Professional demeanor and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
